Excitement was in the air in China on July 18th 2019 when we hosted James Cabot – Southworth Corporate New Chief Executive Officer & Executive Leadership , Steve Albert- SVP Sales – SAMS and Martin Pambor VP Sales S-EMEA in Shanghai.
Heartiest Congratulations to James Cabot and also Brian McNamara on their new roles and special thanks to SIGI (Southworth International Group Inc.) Executives for taking time of their busy schedules to visit Team China.
Starting off the visit in Shanghai, Executive Leadership was given a comprehensive update of China Operational Status post March 28th 2019 Official Grand Opening.
In particular, much time was spent reviewing our current approach to market and break-out sessions were also held to leverage S-AMS (Southworth America’s) and S-EMEA (Southworth – Europe-Middle East & Africa) Sales & Marketing strategies for link & leverage.
Invaluable advise and synergies were developed to support S-APAC ( Southworth Asia-Pacific) Initiatives. As James Cabot said “ We are a Global Company with a Strong Global Presence, and its exciting that our company have now established a strong foundation in APAC to support our company’s growth initiatives”.
Post Shanghai Visit, Executive Leadership Team Visited Our Wuxi Operations . Roger Huang , our new Operations Director , hosted the visit and provided detailed overview of the factory’s initiatives on Employee Health & Safety (EHS), Inventory Management, Quality Systems, Syteline Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction Initiatives , Factory Ventilation Improvement Status and Last not least the upcoming Water-based Paint Line System as part of Green Manufacturing Initiative.
Special commendation was accorded to Larry Err from Manila, Arkansas for his strong support, contributions and extended time away from family to help Wuxi Factory in Weld Operations Improvement and Syteline ERP.
SIGI Executive Team were overall pleased with the progress at Wuxi Factory as this caps the successful completion of our relocation from our former old shanghai factory in Fengxian County to Wuxi, Jiangsu Province which has a population of 70 million people and China’s Top 3 Economic Powerhouse.
Brian McNamara , congratulated Wuxi Operations and thanked everyone for the months of hard work , planning, coordination , thus ensuring a flawless transfer .
James echoed and encourage Team China to leverage Wuxi Operations to show case our overall operational capability to build an exciting future per our company’s 5 Years Stratplan (Strategic Planning) Initiatives .
