The customer is a well-known international raw material manufacturer and powdery materials purchased by the customer are transported into the factory in 40ft containers. In the previous practice, workers had to climb into containers and suck out powdery materials by using tools. However, this unloading method is inefficient and implies safety hazards.
According to the characteristics of materials to be handled and the workflows, SOUTHWORTH developed this innovative large tilter specially for the customer. First set the tilter at the low position in order to drive the container truck onto the platform and disengage the tractor. Then operate the tilter to incline the container body to an angle suitable for unloading, and gradually increase the inclination angle to allow all materials to be unloaded completely. The tilter is designed with a maximum inclination angle up to 35°.
